Wow! Another Web Designer, how original...
TRUE. However, I believe that everyone has their own subtle style that can't be emulated.
+ PLUS, I am hard-working and easy to get along with. Please view my work.

Awesome vector icons

by James Stables on 08 January, 2013

I bought these vector icons the other day because they rule so much. They are called Geomicons.

Described as Royalty-Free, Grid-Based Vector Icons for Web & UI Design, you can buy 256 solid vector icons (AI & EPS formats) for US$16. Additionally, you can buy 315 vector icons as outlined vectors rather than the solid ones (EPS format).

I think they are well priced and fit most modern styles of web and print work. I think that you do get what you pay for and I am always willing to throw down money for quality work.

jQuery tutorials for days

by James Stables on 24 January, 2013

Codrops has an extremely large library of jQuery tutorials. What makes this collection different is the relevance to the modern use of these tutorials and also the high quality of the design, creativity and function.

Like Stumbleupon, you will get lost for hours browsing and bookmarking the tutorials.

40 E-Books for $99

by James Stables on 13 February, 2013

Smashing Magazine has released all their E-Books to date for one price of US$99. You get the 4 main books and about 40 others all to do with modern Web Design & Development. I presume most of the books are expansions of the articles that they publish, however, to me that is not a bad thing at all.

I love reading Smashing Magazine's articles even if they are sometimes a little contraversial or general. In any case, I think $99 for 40 E-books specialising on CSS3, HTML5, Responsive Design, Media Queries, jQuery and a lot more is a great investment and I wanted to share it with you all.

Additionally, I think I remember reading that when more E-Books are uploaded, you get them for free as part of this deal. That might have been a day-dream, I am not sure.
